We're back together!

One Voice 23

3 days of regathering and refreshing; 3 days of encountering Jesus; 3 days of envisioning and equipping for the whole family.  We’re coming together to raise one voice and hear One Voice.

"Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"
Romans 15:6

Something very powerful happens when God’s people come together in His Name!

‍
As God extended His Kingdom through the early church, "they were all together in one place" to be empowered (Acts 2:1), they "raised their voices together in prayer” for boldness (4:24), and they "gathered together to hear the word of the Lord” (13:44).  These gatherings shaped their destiny!

Over the years, we too have known incredible blessing and refreshing whenever we've joined together from across our wider family of churches; for children, youth and adults these have been vital times of being envisioned, encouraged and equipped.  This summer will be no exception!

After a break of four years, and at such a significant time as this, we will gather to raise one voice in praise and prayer, and to hear God's word of purpose and power for us for the days ahead...

This is a weekend for you

Everyone's included!

During the event there will be dedicated ministry for children, youth and adults, as well as times when all ages will meet together to worship and break bread.

A stay-and-play area for parents with children under 18 months will be available throughout. Live-streaming and video catch-ups of the adult gatherings will be available to everyone who is serving/volunteering or babysitting during the event.

Around the six key gathering-times there will be various social spaces and activities, and opportunities to relax or get active on or off-site

Not sure where to stay?

Accommodation Options

There are lots of places you could stay during the event. Whilst this is not an exhaustive list, we have done our best to find some accommodation options to suit most budgets and needs. Please note that guide prices are exactly that - guides. Prices may increase or decrease throughout the year but we’d strongly encourage you to book your accommodation as soon as possible.

If you would like help finding cheaper alternatives to the options below, including staying with a host-family or camping options, please speak to the elders of your local church who can give you more information.

Zip by Premier Inn Cardiff

3 miles drive to All Nations Church.

Probably the cheapest accommodation you’ll find in Cardiff right now! Small, basic rooms with ensuite bathroom pod, it’s not the height of luxury but definitely somewhere you can get your head down for a good night of sleep. A selection of single, twin, double and accessible rooms are available (no family rooms), and low-cost breakfast is available on site.

Good for: Budget!
Not so good for: Families who want to stay in the same room, or want a bath!
Guide price: ÂŁ64 single / twin / double room for 2 nights (prices will rise as availability reduces)

Premier Inn Cardiff North

4.5 miles drive to All Nations Church.

For a family of 4, this really is the best value accommodation. A standard room is the same price whether there is 1 or 2 adults, with up to 2 children in a family room. What you’d expect from a Premier Inn – clean and tidy en-suite rooms without any bells and whistles.

Good for: Families
Not so good for: If you want 5* this isn’t the place for you
Guide price: ÂŁ133 single / twin / double / family up to 4, room for 2 nights. (prices will rise as availability reduces)

Premier Inn Cardiff East

7.5 miles drive to All Nations Church.

There are rooms for 1 or 2 adults, and also families with 1 child, with a standard room being the same price for any of those configurations. Good value accommodation if you’re in this boat! En-suite bedrooms at the usual Premier Inn standard. Food available from the neighbouring Beefeater restaurant.

Good for: Families up to 3 people, single or twin rooms
Not so good for: Larger families
Guide price: ÂŁ149 single / twin / double / family up to 3, room for 2 nights. (prices will rise as availability reduces)

Travelodge Cardiff Llanedeyrn

3 miles drive to All Nations Church.

A mix of rooms available, for up to 2 adults and 2 children. It’s a standard Travelodge, a little more expensive than the Premier Inn offerings, but still fairly good value. There’s no on-site eating facilities, but there is a Harvester Restaurant next door for evening meals if you choose.

Good for: Families up to 4 people, single or twin rooms, or 1 to 3 adults who want to share
Not so good for: Those who want food on site
Guide price: ÂŁ189.98 single / twin / double / family up to 3, room for 2 nights. (prices will rise as availability reduces)

Travelodge Cardiff Whitchurch

2 miles drive to All Nations Church.

This is a ‘New Design’ Travelodge (recently updated) that has rooms for up to 2 adults and 2 children. There are no on-site eating facilities, but there is a Toby Carvery next door for breakfast, lunch and evening meals, if you choose, and a Tesco Express opposite.

Good for: Families up to 4 people, single or twin rooms, or 1 to 3 adults who want to share
Not so good for: More expensive for family rooms at this hotel
Guide price: ÂŁ181.98 single / twin / double & ÂŁ214.98 family up to 4, room for 2 nights. (prices will rise as availability reduces)

Cardiff Caravan & Camping Park

3.5 miles drive to All Nations Church.

Caravan & campsite near Cardiff City Centre. What can we say? It’s a campsite! They require minimum 2 nights booking as it’s a bank holiday weekend.

Good for: Anyone who wants to stay in their own caravan or tent!
Not so good for: Those who hate camping!
Guide price: ÂŁ70 electric, ÂŁ62 non-electric for 2 night stay.

Airbnb

Various locations across the city.

There’s loads of places available in Cardiff, of varying budgets and quality. Why not team up with other people and look for one together as the best value is often achieved with the larger properties. Also try contacting the owners to see if they will do you a deal on the price!

Good for: People who are looking for some home comforts and to get together with friends
Not so good for: Individuals looking to stay on their own
Guide price: Various.

FAQs

Got more questions? No problem! We know there can be a few unknowns at these events so we’ve done our best to answer some common questions that come up. If you have a question that you don’t see answered below, please.

What is the address of the venue?

All Nations Centre
Sachville Ave
Cardiff
CF14 3NY

Will I be able to park my car at All Nations Church?

There will be parking available at All Nations Centre, along with overflow parking within a 15 minute walk (watch this space for details). To maximise the space available, anyone who wants to park at All Nations Centre and does not have a special access or disabled parking pass will need to have a ‘full car’ (4 or more passengers). If you require special access or disabled parking pass to park at All Nations Centre, this can be requested when booking in.

What are the catering options?

There is on-site catering available on Friday evening, Saturday lunchtime and evening, and Sunday lunchtime. This will be available at the package price of £20 (£15 for under 11’s), and individual meals priced at £5 for lunchtime and £7 for the evening (or £4 and £6 respectively for under 11’s). All meals will need to be pre-booked before the event and full details are available on the event booking form. You can also bring your own pre-packed food (please note that no food preparation areas will be available), or there are numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of All Nations Centre.

What does the catering package include?

The catering package includes a Friday and Saturday 2-course evening meal (with meal options), a Saturday and Sunday light-lunch, along with soft drinks to accompany the meals.

Will refreshments be available throughout the event?

For those buying the catering package or individual meals, soft drinks will be available as part of their meal. We encourage all attendees to bring their own filled water bottles. There will also be hot drinks available to buy throughout the event, or you can bring your own.

Who will be looking after my children?

The safety of children, youth and the ministry teams is of great importance to us. Those serving within our children’s ministry teams are drawn from relating churches across the UK. They will be appointed, trained, supported and supervised in accordance with government guidance; this includes completing safeguarding training, a DBS check and pastoral recommendation from church leaders working in collaboration with ministries without borders¼.

What opportunities will there be to serve at the event?

The success of all our events like this depends on those who volunteer to serve as part of them! During the booking process you will be asked which area you would like to serve in, and we will contact you in the coming months to arrange the details with you. Alongside this, and to ensure that the children’s ministry has all the resources it needs, all parents of children aged 18 months - 11 years will be asked to serve as part of the children’s ministry team for at least one session during the event.

Will the event be live streamed?

The event will be live streamed and available to ticketed event guests during the weekend. This event will not be publicly live streamed. Provisions will also be made for those serving as part of the event (e.g. children’s ministry leaders), but who are unable to attend all the gatherings.

Can I attend for individual days?

This is a weekend event, and the tickets therefore cover the weekend. It is your decision as to how much you can or want to attend
but we’re hoping you’ll come along and enjoy it all!

Will ticket prices increase as we get closer to the event?

No, but tickets are limited due to the capacity of All Nations Centre, so we’d encourage you to book early! To support the preparations that need to be made for our children, the last date to buy tickets for children & youth is 31st May. Ticketing for adults will remain open until 30th June.

Can I get to the venue using public transport?

Yes! As a capital city, Cardiff has good public transport links, with buses stopping less than a 4 minute walk from All Nations Centre. The nearest train station is Heath High Level, or Heath Low Level, which is a 20 minute walk from All Nations Centre. If you’d like to get a taxi to All Nations Centre then Dragon Taxis or Uber are both good options - check your app store for each of their apps.

Where else can I eat during the weekend?

There are numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars within walking distance of All Nations Centre. There are also lots of options in the city centre and at Cardiff Bay which are in close proximity to All Nations Centre.

Can we stay with a local church family?

Good question! It’s up to you to make your weekend accommodation arrangements – so be resourceful. If you don’t have friends in South Wales, your home church office may be able to broker local hospitality for you. Have a chat with them.

What happens if I’m running late?

That’s no problem - please travel safely and we’ll see you when you arrive!

What security measures are in place?

The event will be self-contained within the All Nations Centre site and staffed by our security team during event hours. Entrance will be for ticketed event guests, staff and official visitors only.

Is Cardiff a safe city?

Yes, although just like any large city you need to act responsibly and with wisdom - we wouldn’t advise walking around on your own late at night, or if you’re not sure where you’re going.

What do I need to bring with me?

Whatever you might take to a church gathering! This may include a bible, notepad and pen, and a refillable water bottle. What else you’ll need will depend on the accommodation you have booked, or the activities you have planned. Please check these requirements out for yourself.

Can my ticket be refunded if I can no longer attend?

Unfortunately, tickets for this event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What if I don’t want my child to be photographed?

No problem – as part of the booking process you are given the option. Anyone who does not want their child to be photographed will be issued with a wristband. Whilst we will make every effort to respect your choice it remains the responsibility of each individual to wear the designated wristband.

Will I need to check-in my children before the gatherings?

Children’s ministry will be available for those aged 18 months – 18 years. All children (18m to 11yrs) will need to be checked in before the start of each of the children’s ministry sessions. Please arrive at All Nations Centre in plenty of time before each of the sessions to do this. Youth (11 - 18 years) will be able to check themselves in and out of their venue with their parents’ permission.

What’s available for infants?

A ‘stay & play’ area will be available for parents and infants under 18 months throughout the weekend. This is not staffed but there are loads of great toys!

Is there a code of conduct for the event?

We expect all delegates to show respect through the way they act, speak and listen to other delegates and event staff and volunteers, and to take care of all the event equipment and facilities, following site rules (such as no smoking, no drugs). Any delegate who does not do this may be asked to permanently leave the event, and if that delegate is under 18 their parent or guardian will be asked to leave with them. There will be no event refunds in these cases.

Still have questions?

You’re probably not the only one! Let us know and we’ll do our best to answer it.
